Yes! I do custom orders!

I can upcycle or refurbish your wooden furniture. If the wood is scratched and marked and needs refinishing, or you’re after a new paint job to coordinate with your decor, I can help. If you’ve got a special piece that needs a new lease on life, or you don’t want to discard a good piece of furniture just because it doesn’t quite go with your current home, I can help you update it so it can be used for years to come.

I can pick up and drop off most furniture in the Wellington region, or for extra large items I may be able to come to you. Email me for a quote and I’ll get right back to you!

“I made contact with Furniture Riot after I saw one of the pieces Charlotte had made-over, in the hope that she could do something with my dresser drawers. The drawers are from my grandmother, and very special to me, but were run down and looking drab. Charlotte came to my home to collect the item, we chatted about a plan, everything was very clear to me, what she would do, the price, and the time frame. I was so pleased when they were returned, the work is amazing, they bring me joy every time I look at them, and I was so pleased, I asked Charlotte to polish and paint two other pieces in the lounge. I would highly recommend Furniture Riot, professional service, high quality finish, prompt and timely service, very happy.”

“Charlotte has helped me with 2 furniture pieces. After a long consideration of whether I should get rid of them and purchase something that would be more modern but the lower quality or upcycle, I decided the latter. Because there is a reason why a good quality wooden furniture piece can live for hundreds of years and live several lives (thanks to refurbishing!). Modern looking, better quality, last longer & more reliable – a win-win situation!”

Charlotte took two grotty chairs that had been well loved by children and time and turned them into something fresh, colourful, and new. They make me smile anytime someone sits on them!
